Hey guys, you havent let me down once so I'm hoping thats the case with this as well. Im looking for a game that is under the genre MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) I have played such games as World Of Warcraft (Completely ashamed of myself for that) But I'm looking for a game similar in feel and controls, but free to play. I have already installed a game I used to play called Silkroad Online but it is constantly full due to people using bots to level themselves up and it leaves the real people that actually play just hanging outside... So I'm asking my fellow gamers to name some games that maybe they play or did play that could aid me in my search.

Thanks so much,
Andrew

I think the Civilizations titles are still being made and back in the day they were great games.

Don't think Civs count as a MMORPG. I know Runescape used to be free (not sure if it still is). I know one guy who plays Runes of Magic and Ace online and likes em.

I tried WoW too actually. Not a bad game, its everyone seemingly acting like 6 year olds that pissed me off.

Talisman Online. Free to play, bots get banned often, graphics are the best I've found. If ya do sign up, join the All Star server and I'll get ya in my guild.

The LOTR MMO goes free-to-play in the fall and I've heard great things about it, though I haven't played it. Worth looking at, since it was originally a paid game and considered worth paying for.

I played Tribal Wars for about a year--was spending way too much time on it so gave it up (not to mention having to get up at all hour to launch/defend attacks). It was fun, though.

Theres a ton of free MMORPG's.

I tried quite a few of them , many of them flat out stink.

Perfect World is a beautiful game , but like most of these it gets boring hunting for 20 satchmos to bring back the ears to Prince Doohickey over and over again.
DDO Unlimited is a much more comprehensive but if you are out for quick hack n slash fun you should look elsewhere.

Rohan was pretty darn fun for a few months , very easy to play and somewhat easy to level.

If you want some fun not so serious single player only action check out Torchlight ( a lot like old school Diablo 2 ) or Titan Quest.
