Hi all,
I was wondering if I could get some recommendations for a Buck everyday carry knife? I'm looking at the Vantage Pro. Is it any good? I'm looking to not spend too much more than $100.
Thanks for the input!

Vantage Pro is made with S30V, it's a great knife, especially for the price point! G10 scales, low ride pocket clip and thin profile make it an easy ride and good carry choice. If a more traditional pocket knife is your thing then the 501 is a great choice as well.

If it's S30V, it's probably great!

I like a good sized blade, and definitely with a clip for EDC. Buck's got a 40% off sale due to Memorial day and I just want to get my money's worth.

You will surely get your money's worth with the Vantage Pro in S30V! Go get it, you know you want it!

Blessings,

Omar

it is a great knife and I really like mine, But I like my Pro Vantage Force even better. Also S30V. All the advantages of the Vantage Pro, but better looks (IMHO), and smoother operation, or so it seems to me.

Both are great knives. Go with whichever one suits you best, but don't get confused by the designation. Make sure that whichever one you choose is a "pro". Among other things, that designates the S30V blade. The Avid is 13C26 Sandvik™ & the Select is 420HC.

I can't tell you enough how much I like my Pro Vantage Force. It is probably one of my two favorite flippers and my current favorite Buck.

Best of luck on your decision. Don't have a current pic of mine, but here is a stock picture (the handle colors & texture are very nice, the blue doesn't come out quite as well here as it really is):
