Looking for a good fixed blade

I'm intersted in buying a good fixed blade knife. I have a Kabar fighting knife but find it a little too big for my needs. Here are my requirements:

4-5" blade
Under $50 (I can probably spend $10-20 more)
Good company
Plain edge or combo edge (no full serrated)

Look at Condor or Svord. They have some good options near your price point. Also, like said above, if you shop around something in the BK line might fit your budget.

You should check out the knifemaker's for sale area. Kelley Ward (username: Hardedgeknives) in particular has several offerings that fit your criteria.

This is a good suggestion. :thumbup:

He usually posts offerings once or week or so. Sometimes more frequently sometimes less.

Becker is a great call. I'll mention Ontario Ranger Shiv knives too. 4.5" blade and just under $60. I own a Ranger rd6 blade and I love it.
