and of course this one: a 6mm thick spartan.. I don't think I have ever heard anyone complain that the spartan is not strong enough
Oh and it is priced at $102!! A fake that is 2x as expensive as the real thing!

That actually looks pretty cool, the more I look at the spartans the more I kind of want one. Idk.

Oh and the Spartan knockoff doesn't have a triad lock of course. :p
 
That Spyderco is real, it has the old trademark Spyder-triangle opening hole. It was phased out for the Spyderhole.

No, it's not. Where did you get your information that Spyderco used a triangular hole before the round on? It doesn't even look like the comet shaped hole they are using on the Byrd series.

I blame text for not adequately conveying sarcasm. I was far from serious, and I don't think Spyderco has every used a hole other than the Spyderhole (but I don't know that for sure).
 
whats curious about the spyderco fake is that they took the name and logo but were aparently afraid to copy the patent spydy hole , lol
 
Real Spyderco boxes state the model name and number on the end label. I wonder if they copied this, also? If so, what model do they claim this one is? The triangular hole must just be there as a warning to the less gullible that the whole thing is bogus.
 
Somebody seriously needs to create a sarcasm font. That would help so much (not sarcastic, being serious.
 
That 'Spartan' is ridiculously thick ! It would be sort of neat , were it real..


The folks that make these obviously have enough talent to copy and modify and at least put together a solid enough looking knife - in pics anyway - why cant they just come up their own designs ?? They would get respect and probably a fan base and not have the stigma of copying someone else.
