Looking for a Good Quality Fixed Blade Dagger

I've recently come across the Zero Tolerance 0150. I love the looks, handle, sheath, and design of it, but I hate the price, hahaha. In your opinion, is it worth the $130-$150? (I've never purchased a knife that's been over $70, so I'm a bit hesitant.) I'm looking for a great dagger to purchase, it needs to be of good quality and be very tough, preferably having a G10 handle. Blade length should be three to four inches. If I can't find a decent one that's less expensive than the 0150, I'll just go with the 0150. What are some of your favorite tactical/military/boot knife daggers that you recommend?

You can get a coffin handled Joker for 75 shipped from Morris. I think he posts here. It's in your price range, but it only has a 2.5 inch blade.

Just google Michael Morris knives.

I have the Boker Applegate-Fairbairn boot knife. It's a very well-designed, high-quality knife. I'm not a big fan of the asymmetrical blade (slightly concave on one side), and the kydex sheath leaves a little to be desired but, I daresay, there's no better dagger for the size and price.

I'm not much of a dagger enthusiast, but the Gerber Guardian has always seemed nice to me. Not sure what steal they're using these days. Other than that, the CRKT Sting is a nice dagger, but no G10. It's one solid piece of 1050.

the AG Russell sting from CRKT may be what you want, quite a bit cheaper but a little handle heavy and would not throw very well as the balance point is one the handle about a 1/2" below the guard.

The Fallkniven Garm Fighter is a good one.

The price used to be around $90.00.

I dont know what it is now though.

Agreed. I don't own one, but I appreciate the aesthetic 'flow' of the blade and handle outline. More appealing than the Zero Tolerance, IMO.

If you do a search now and then you might find a Camillus Boot Knife for a really good price, it was one of the best and very affordable.

Just got this Koyote..love it! Took me forever to pull the trigger on a double edged knife. No rerets with this one!

:D I wish I was ready to unveil whats been hiding up my sleeve. No not literally.

Thank you all for your suggestions, but I like the zt0150 way too much to pass up. Beautiful dagger, I'll post a review of it once it comes.

The Sog Pentagon and mini-Pentagon daggers are both good looking and affordable. Much more expensive and very cool is the CS Taipan.

Thanks for pointing out this maker, I like his line, will probably buy some of his stuff.

I'm a firm believer that a dagger--intended for thrusting--should have a respectable hand guard on it to prevent the hand sliding forward.
