I prefer rollerball type pens

I'm looking for something that goes with my EDC theme, Rugged, simple yet elegant in a way. i tend to lose, chew, break pens and it would take some care and concern on my behalf not to destroy it inside a monthes time, so i'm limiting myself to $75 max budget

I'm looking for

Silver or black color
blue or black ink
Prefer heavy weight and feel
Must be thick i have decent size hands and i'm most comfortable with Dr. Grip pens size wise but they just look cheap
refillable
Able to withstand being sat on and generaly abused as i go through pens quickly and have decided it's time to buy a nice one.

PS. I'm training myself not to lose/abuse pens with a Dr. Grip . had the same one for 3 weeks. thats about 2.95 weks longer than most last
;)

Given your specified needs, I'd recommend a Lamy Swift rollerball. A bit unusual in design but very clean lines - definitely doesn't "look" like a pen worth more than few bucks. It's M66 refills write very smoothly and the brass barrel gives it some heft.

It's available in different finishes, but here it is in what I think is a palladium finish:

BTW, I saw the post about your locker room loss - what a real bummer!

You should get a penknife so you could take off someone's arm with it.
