I am looking to diversify my collection I want to try out a more old school pocket knife any recommendation are welcome but I probably wont be spending more than 50 or 60 dollars.

There are a lot of Case knives available in that price range. Another great option is to find an original (U.S) Schrade

Check out the GEC #15 Boy's knife. A very nice offering. 1095 blades, available in a variety of cover materials, and with fit and finish superior to the vast majority of production knives currently available. ~ $65.

Here's one with smooth white bone.

Well... in that price range I might suggest a Case brand pocketknife. Unless you get into upper end handle materials, most of their production knives can be found under your price range.

It's hard to recommend something with so little to go on. How many blades do you want? How big of a knife are you looking for? Do you have any preference of handle colors or materials? Jigged or smooth?

One of my favorites is the Case Small Texas Jack, which is 3 5/8" closed and has a main clip blade and a smaller pen blade, both hinged at the same end. There is a 3-bladed version of the same knife that is one of several Medium Stockman patterns.

The mini-trapper is also a great Case pattern. Just a little bigger than the Texas Jack with a secondary blade that is a full length spey or wharncliffe, depending on the model.

If you want something in the smaller sizes, the Case Peanut and Mini Copperhead are popular, and in the same general small size range are the Small Stockman and Tiny Trapper patterns.

Buck also makes some nice users in several patterns and sizes, 300-series. You don't get too many choices in handle materials (black or yellow Delrin and a couple of wood handles) but they have 1, 2, and 3 bladed versions in several sizes.

A little bit above your range are the Great Eastern Cutlery products, though some can be had for under $80 depending on the pattern and handle material. If you are willing to pay up for quality they are worth their price.

A Case medium stockman is a great way to test the Traditional waters. It's within your price range in most handle covers except stag or mother-of-pearl.

There are frequently very nice traditionals in your price range in the Exchange area from lots of manufacturers.

GEC. There are a few options right in that price range. The boys knife, and a few others. Spend the extra $5 or so.

Queen makes several near your price range (Gunstock, Copperhead, Canoe, Mountain Man. Country Cousin). If you're coming from higher end steels, their D2 won't be as much of a disappointment as some of the lesser steels found in most traditionals. Canal Street also uses D2, as well as 14-4CrMo (like 154CM or ATS-34), but most of their offerings are priced somewhat higher (though I can recommend the Half Moon Trapper and the Pinch Lockback, which are closer to your limit).
Do some research, buy well and enjoy.
