I am not really biased to any steel or lock besides the fact that i hate serrations and most lockbacks. I want to get a new custom folder for around $200. I would prefer HG or FFG but willl consider anything. The cheapest custom folders i can find are the Brouse blade SS flippers but maybe there will be a few even more inexpensive? Anyways thank for any answer!

For $450 and up you can get some good customs from makers on this forum, such as Alan Davis. Someone is selling a really nice Davis knife for $315 on the custom sales forum. $200 isn't much money for custom knives.

I've been meaning to ask the same question on here.
But 200 seems a bit low, for a handmade knife no?
I'd say about a grand should open up a few more doors?

$200.00 will get you a basic but well made fixed blade. No way will you get a handmade folder in that price range, unless it is a very new maker, or something is wrong with it.
