Looking for a high quality edc fixed blade

I've been looking at a high quality edc fixed blade, a litter higher profile than an izula or a becker bk14. I was looking at a swamp rat rodent 3, do you guys have any reccomendations near that price/quality range? I'm getting a custom one off JMason piece, but I don't want to beat the crap out of it. Too purdy. ;)

I just recently picked up a Fallkniven Juni and its very different from the other small fixed blades ive carried in the past (izula, izzy II or the candiru). the dangler sheath it came with is top notch, but I have decided to carry it in a KSF pocket sheath.

I just picked up a Spyderco Mule Team 18 which has the S110V blade, I just have to build/buy a sheath and handle for it. There is also the spyderco bushcraft blank you buy from spyderco directly for $120, same deal you have to build your own handle and sheath and it's made out of 0-1 steel. I have no experience with the bushcraft but I expect the same quality as my Mule Team which means I expect it to be pretty dang good.

Bark River makes some very nice small fixed blades. Check 'em out (Derrick at KnivesShipFree has a pretty decent selection):

I often carry a Bravo Necker or Necker II:

Fair warning if you buy a swamprat expect to become addicted! Because once you have a rat you'll be wanting a full fledged hog next :O but on the topic of the rodent 3 it's a really great fixed blade that fits the hands well and can take a beating!

Esee, Bark River, and then Scrapyard and Swamp Rat which are both similar and some of my favorites. If you are thinking about the Swamp Rat I would get it as it is very good quality.

I EDC a little Busse Magnum Bear cub . With a 3" blade that's .156" thick and a 6 5/8" overall length and being made of Busse's INFI steel it's a tough little knife that's easy to carry and cuts great .

HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !

Somewhere between trad and modern, the Enzo Necker. I rounded the corners on the handle and it is now one of my favourites. The sheath that comes with the knife is good quality thick leather and holds the knife nicely. It has a belt loop, but can be carried handle down or in the pocket.

Damn...that little Busse and the BRKT mini look soooooooo sweet. If only I had the coin.................:grumpy:

Warriors and Wonders in Vancouver, BC. Canadian or American customers. I live 6 blocks from the place. It is my "happy space" on weekends. Google them....

where can you buy a bark river?

KnivesShipFree and KnifeWorks are my most trusted sources. Tell Derrick and Roger I said "Hi." They know who I am.... b/c I'm helping to pay their mortgages - LOL!
