Looking for a historic styled hand axe. Any advice?

Hello, currently my buckcraft axe is a little Virginia Pole Axe with a 1lb head and 16" handle. It's nice enough for what it is, but a bit light and short for my uses. Looking to try something different. I was thinking to try some historic pattern, just because they're cool if nothing else.

I was reading a page on historic Viking axes and this little hand axe caught my eye. The cross section reminds me of a Tomahawk, but I'd guess it's 2 foot long and a bit heavier than many tomahawks, and I wonder if the beard increases its usefulness for carving.

Anyone know where I could pick something like this up or a maker who could build me one? I've had lots of custom done knives in the past but never an axe. It seems hard to find something like this. Searching for any "Viking" or bearded axe seems to just bring up a bunch of fantasy themed nonesense.
Just want something simple and well built. 2 foot or so, 1.25 to 1.5 lb head. Thin blade for to slice branches (obviously not to be used for splitting anything).

Thanks for any advice!

Strongway Tools might be worth checking out. They're open to making changes to stock items, such as handle changes etc. I saw one fellow post a picture elsewhere of a custom axe made by them.
I recently bought an axe from them and requested a completely different handle than what it normally comes with and they were happy to accommodate.

Not inexpensive, but he's a true craftsman capable of tackling just about anything you throw at him, and manages to capture an authentic true-to-the-original look on. If within your budget, it's an easy choice.
