Looking for a hobo knife...

Last Christmas my siblings and I got my Dad a Case hobo knife. He tells me he uses it every day at work. Anyway, ever since my husband saw it, he's been itching for one. So I've been looking around at some of the alternatives to Case, wondering how they compare. Looking at a cheaper version since he wants something else that's quite pricy, and not sure the Case one will be in the budget this year. I'm thinking a cheaper one to see how he likes it, then we could always go for the case another time. Definitely want one that comes apart into 3 pieces. I've seen kabar, boker magnum, and a few from kissing crane. Anyone own or handled any of these?

No answer to your question, but I'll follow this thread.
My youngest daughter has been wanting one for awhile, and the Case is a little pricey.
Hopefully some other folks will chime in with some info...

I think the Boker would be a good choice, especially for the cost of admission.
