looking for a holster to match a belt I already have

I am looking for a holster for my Ruger New Model Black Hawk with a 7.5 inch barrel

I have a vietnam era pistol belt that I got when my dad died. It has a holster on it already, but it isn't what I am looking for. the style of the holster just has the belt through it and does not hang down at all. I want the gun to hang from the belt instead

I know what I am looking for, but dont know if one exists. I am looking for a holster that attachs via the wire hangers

here is an example of the hanger on the machete that I have as well.

i want the wire hanger to be at the very top edge of the holster. so that the holster hangs down. I would prefer either olive nylon or camouflage (older style though) nylon (or cordura) I coudl deal with a black one and could also deal with leather if that is what it takes

does anyone know of one?

aslo, could someone tell me what the wire hanger system is called?

That appears to be a simply older military (US and others) connector for the old cloth or canvas GI pistol belts with the rows of grommeted holes. My first thought would be to find a holster that you like and "bogart" 1 or 2 of these old hangers from cheap surplus items-GI .45 holsters, bayonet sheaths, old canvas magazine pouches, etc., and have a leather shop/shoe shop, or holster maker "adapt" these to the holster you choose. I was afraid that I might have to do some modifying and parts pirating...oh well, time to hit the flea markets and surplus stores
 
It is great that your using your dad's old belt but if it was me, I wouldn't want a gun that size to be kinda dangling low and held on with that kind of hardware; not very uncomfortable or secure. Better to find a western type holster that fits the gun and allows your belt to slip through. But good luck either way.
