Looking for a junkyard knife website

I found a website earlier that I liked that sold knives very similar to Swamp Rats. The person with the link had a Dogs head on it. I believe it was a pitbull and the guy had Mad Dog for the picture. I've tried looking up junkyard knives, because I thought that that was what it was called, but no success. Can anyone help me find it again? Thanks

That would be Scrapyard Knife Works. I believe they are another branch-off of Busse like Swamp Rat.

Can anyone give a desacription, and/or experiences with SR77 steel??? I've never heard of it.

I handled one at Blade West and it seemed like a nice knife. Big, thick and heavy with a rubber handle. Utilitarian. Makes my Ratweiler look pretty. Bladeforums member 360Joules was manning their booth and explained that SR7 is used for jackhammer bits. If I bought one I would put a convex edge on it and beat the living tar out of it while camping.

I have a scrapper 6 and love the thing...Handles very well and takes a good edge...I have beaten the crap out of it, with no ill effects

I would buy it again, and the service was sweet!!

I just received my Scrapper6 last week. I'm very happy with it.

So far I've made the cutting edge a little more acute (scary good slicer now) and removed the black epoxy coating (not fun !). I used vinegar to give the blade a nice dark patina, then oiled it with mineral oil to protect against rust.

Leatherface didn't mention it here, but he makes some AWESOME leather sheaths for these knives! Definetly worth checking out...

I used Jasco Paint and Epoxy Remover and it came off nice and easy.
Took several applications but I just brushed it on and let it set and brushed it off.
Water cleanup too.

Left it with a nice dark grey finish.:thumbup:

Scrapper6 is built like a tank, I want a bigger one
