I know there's a traditional folder area in the forum, but I thought I might get more input under general.
I'm wondering if anyone knows who might make a traditional folding knife in 440C with hollow ground blades. I'm looking for a knife for my Father for his upcoming birthday. His favorite knife for as long as I can remember is the old Schrade 285 trapper model. I know he's not a fan of Buck or Case which has left me looking with limited finds. It'll be used for an EDC knife for anything from cutting hay string to cleaning fish and deer. I'd like to find something in the $50-100 range, around 4 inches closed length, and with 2 or 3 blades. Thanks for any suggestions.
