Looking for a knife maker in Arizona to learn from

I know you are all busy people...my husband and I will in the Flagstaff area Oct 23-27; Husband has been a skilled metalworker ( no dummy) for 40 plus years...is there any competent knifemaker in the Flagstaff/ Sedona area who would allow him to trail along in the forge for a 1/2 day or day to ask questions etc? Payment of course...

i don’t know of any knifemakers in town, you might try calling the pistol parlor. they’re a local gun store & tho it’s been a couple years since i’ve stopped by there, the last i did i believe they had a few custom knives on display. maybe try calling them tomorrow, their # is (928) 527-4100.

hope you have a good visit here. be sure you pack at least a light jacket, we don’t stay hot all year like it does in phoenix. by the time you get here it might be getting a bit chilly. although it’s rare, sometimes we’ll even get a bit of snow before the end of oct.
