Looking for a knife that may not exist..

I'm looking for a folder that has a 50/50 Serrated/PE blade. That's the easy part, next comes the part I haven't been able to find. I want the PE near the handle and the Serrations at the tip end. Anybody have any idea if any production knives have this feature? Thanks and I hope this hasn't been covered 500 times before.

Matt

Damnit that's almost exactly what I'm looking for, but $275 just isn't in my budget! Damnit damnit, and damnit

Thanks a lot though, at least now I know they exist! Heh

Hmm, you could have a custom maker put one together, but in the end it would also be likely to push 275.
This is the only production model I'm aware of, but that does not by any stretch mean its the only one out there.
Good luck in your search
Chris

If you can find a place that adds serrations, just buy the PE version of the knife you want, and have the serrations added.

The one-hand trekker from Victorinox has plain edge at the rear & serrations near the tip. I like mine.

It is sold at target stores for about 25 bucks.

I had on-scene tactical make me a kydex xheath for it that can be worn vertical or horizontal - http://www.mnsi.net/~nbtnoel/

Eric is a legend around here & is very reasonably priced.

Look around.
You may find that AG Russel on Ebay or somewhere for much less.
Good Luck.

Thank you! That's pretty close to what (minus the extra blades and stuff, but that may be a plus once I have it) I wanted and it's fair priced so I'm gonna get one :)

Or if you wanted something a little beefier, you could always try to find a Busse Flying Tiger.

:D :D :D

(Sorry, I read the thread about suggesting something far beyond what people were asking for and got a little carried away.)

You are loking for this.....the Valloton EMT Knife by TImberline Knives.

Now those are right on the money! How's the quality of them? Anybody here have one and care to comment?

My dad sells timberlines on his truck. I have handled the Vallotton, and it's nice. If I had a need for one (and didn't hate liner locks) I'd get one. I have also handled the custom chameleon by butch, and it's obviously much better, but the overall design is well translated.

Aslo, they have new knife displays, and they are well made for tool trucks-there is a bungee string on one end, and the lanyard holes have bolts through them, so the knives don't fall down when the truck drives. I am going to cajole my dad into donating a mini pit bull for my general use, or pay him the 20 bucks.
