Looking for a knife vise.

Gritomatic has a rotating clamp system that are sold separately from Hapstone V6. I guess is discontinued. Maybe email to Konstantin the Gritomatic own, just to check if they have anymore left.
Another user here in forum that maybe produce it to you is narwa-18. I had talk to him by email and is very friendly.
I don’t know what do you mean by vise. Are you meaning the entire rotating clamp system to attach to any base? Are you meaning just the clamp itself? Are you build your own sharpening? Where are you from?

Hello,
Thank you very much for your response I appreciate it.
I have an existing sharpening system that is very similar to the hapstone without the flipping, knife clamp portion.
The flipping knife clamp portion I was describing as a vice, sorry.
And that is the assembly that I'm looking to purchase.
I actually contacted Gritomatic, and was told they no longer had this assembly available.
I am from the US but don't mind purchasing overseas if necessary. ( I've tried searching but run into problems with vocabulary Search terms and Google translator is not helping).
I'm just looking for a website that might have some version of the flipping -clamp- knife- holding portion that I can mount to my existing sharpeningblade holdong surface.
Thank you so much for your help, I can find most anything I have in this world on the internet but this has evaded me for over a month now
Lol
Cheers!

Ok. Nice. I ask where you from because all I could find is in USA or Russia. In USA I know that have many sharpening systems that use clamps like Techstudio Profile and Hapstone that you can buy directly from a seller in USA land. Overseas I know narwa-18 and there is a list of some guided clamp system you can may try contacting:

I believe most of them want to sell the full sharpening system but give a try.
Cheers!

Hello thank you so much again for the great link.
It seems you're correct I can't find anyone that sells just that portion one would think that might be available separately but apparently not
If anyone else has any suggestions I would certainly appreciate it.

You might check some of the Woodworking websites like Garrett Wade, JapanWoodWorker, Lee Valley ect. Also whenever I found I've needed certain tools I have had really good luck talking to my local Snap-On Truck guy. You know the Snap-On truck that goes to all the auto repair shops. I've found that many of those Snap-On salesmen will also have access to stuff from other tool companies in the line of specialty tools.

One other source you might find helpful would be to check out those websites for "rock hounds" and geologists. They have a myriad of specialty tools as well. Please do let us know where you find a good one at because that's something I would also like to check into.

Wow it looks like I've got the big guns involved! Thanks Mr.Spydo and brasileiro.
I checked in detail the links you've provided and wow I'm not sure that I've ever seen so many clamps in one day in my life LOL.
Japanwoodworker has tons, but none close to what I/we're looking for. This Pinterest page has many examples : https://pin.it/5aft25ugkribtj ( all links to those I've chased as well)
But as pertaining to the manufacturer, I come up with zero luck yet again.
Perhaps someone else on the odd chance might know of a source.
Thanks again for your time.
Mac

Good afternoon I've had no luck with find this, for sale.
I'll try bumping this thread for the weekend hoping some new smarter than I, knife people will be able to help us find this device that has been so elusive.
It would seem that Russia has the market cornered on these. I would hope that someone might post a few on ebay or some other
distribution site.

Not knowing your budget nor machining skill level makes this hard. However: what about purchasing a Wicked Edge vise ($250), and then mounting that on a block of aluminum? You would then attach a rod to the other side of the block, and you have a rotating vise, with replaceable jaws. You can get a variety of jaws and adapters for the vise, which should help you out.

Unfortunately that sounds a bit out of my range.
I've been scouring the web since last week with no luck yet again maybe on the odd chance someone will see this post and have some info on a production flipping clamp.

Thank you all again cheers!
