hello all! I am new to collecting knives, my most recent purchases are the IZULA, and Spartan blades enyo.

atm I have been looking all over the net for a scandi grind knife, with no luck, I'm hoping yall have the insight I'm looking for.

what I'm looking for is a scandi grind knife, blade length around 3 inches, with a over all length of about 6.5 - 7inches. I'm not very picky on the handle, just not skeletonized. If possible to be easily obtained and be $100 or less. carbon steel is a plus. Basically I'm looking for mid-ranged bushcraft knife.

thanks
josh

Hi domajm32 -

Stomper (JK Handmade Knives) is making a $100 line of knives that closely fits your description:

7.5" overall length
01 steel
Micarta scales
full tang
scandi or full grind
handmade leather sheath included
$100

Stomper is on vacation this week so if you try to contact him it might take a day or two - normally he would be back with you in a matter of hours.

I have two of Stomper's knives already, and two more ordered. I really like his work, and it is nice to get a hand-made knife that was made from scratch just for YOU.

He is a stand-up knife-maker and puts quality in everything I have seen him do.

best regards -

Take a look at entrek forester. It is a great knife. His heat treat of the 440c and cold stabilization is second to none.
