Hey guys, I've currently got a small stockman (I think) and I am looking for a specific kind of traditional knife though. I want a peanut to accompany me with my normal single handed folder, But I want this peanut to have a clip blade and a sheepsfoot blade instead of a pen, preferably a good brand also. Does anyone know which brand makes one like this or if they even do?

I don't know of any production knives like this, but you might want to check with Mike Alsdorf, he might be willing to make one.

Mike Alsdorf is a great suggestion. I'm sure he could fix you right up.

There is also the A.G. Russell Pinched Peanut with Clip and Wharncliffe blades. It isn't cheap but it's pretty close to what you are looking for.

AG Russell has some peanuts with clip and wharncliffe blades. Very cool looking little knives.

You should check with Mike, I have a peanut on order with him but with a pen secondary. For a production peanut, the closest one is from AG Russell but its got a wharncliffe secondary if that's ok with you. Here is one in Chinese Quince and VG-10. I've seen them with stag, pearl, and mammoth ivory as well.

The A.G. russel pinched peanut has a wharncliff secondary blade, if you would be willin to compromise a bit. I think That is as close as you're going to get production wise.

May check out the Case/TB swayback jacks, opposite blade config tho. Wharnie main and pen secondary. And a hair bigger, but nice little knives.

I don't know if it would work for you but I think a Case mini trapper looks like a great little alternative to a peanut.
