The title pretty much says it all, except that I want the sheath to slip through the belt and to hold with a stud the way that the original leather sheath from Ontario, and, I presume, Bill Bagwell, does. Can any of you all out there help me?

Mike Sastre carries an OHB (and sometimes the real Bagwell HB) in his concealex sheath with the belt stud. Very nicely done. He's done the same sheath for my Jerry Hosssom Millenium Bowie.

Thanks Sing and Eric!
The Ontario Bagwells, though they are production knives, are hand ground (at least in the clip area), so each has to be fitted as a custom to have the sheath work EXACTLY as it should. There are some subtleties involved if you want it to work just like the sheaths that Bill Bagwell makes for his customs, but it can be done, and is a great way to carry a big knife. Speaking of Mr. Bagwell, he's got a new book out from Paladin Press that's a "must read" if you like big knives or want to gain some insight from a Master Bladesmith.
