I'm looking for recommendations for a sheath maker proficient in making kydex sheath with multi-position clips. I have a couple "pack knives", one made by Terri Primos and another by Nick Wheeler, and I want sheaths for them. Since I'll mostly carry them when I backpack, I need to be able to easily stuck them on my strap (or maybe directly onthe pack) and on my belt (when I remove the pack), alternatively.

Any reco. would be much appreciated. Feel free to use email or PM.

Thanks,

JD

Tom Krein is the BEST!

Fast, reasonable, super-nice guy, and they're NICE sheaths. I have several; both from HIS knives and other knives of mine that he's done sheaths for. I like his work better than any other kydex work. They hold the knives firmly enough that you can't shake it out, but they don't have to be YANKED out or give you a hernia trying to draw. I can always wear his sheaths further back and resheath a knife easily without looking, and it goes in with a satisfying thud without pinching the flesh of my lovehandles. :D

His site is down right now, but he has his own forum elsewhere. :(
He's a member here. You should have no trouble finding him.

Joss,

Tim Wegner at BladeTech is in your back yard. Call him up, and have him make some sheaths for you. His company still does that, and the clip that he patented. the tek-lok, is hard to beat.

(sometimes your laziness is mind-boggling ;) )
