Looking for a large(r) folder - ZT0200 or comparable

I'm looking for a slightly larger folder, somewhere around the 4" area. I have no specific reason to get one this size, I just want to. My collection is small, but includes a Spyderco, Benchmade, Boker, and a few Kershaws and Leathermans. So I thought about adding a ZT to kind of round out the collection.

What are some thoughts on the ZT0200? What about compared to the ever-so-popular ZT350 (aside from blade length)?

Any help is appreciated.

BTW, thanks to this website, I seem to be getting addicted....

Thanks,

the 0200 is much more comfortable in-hand than the 0350, for me anyway. the 560 is more inline with the 0200 size-wise. a smaller alternative would be the 550, with a shorter blade but more hand-filling ergos and no flipper. i find that i'm carrying the 550 more over any of my other ZTs.

The zt350 has a lot of hot spots when holding it. The spyderco military is large and in charge and won't kill you wallet. I just picked up a lionsteel sr1. If your looking for strength and size look no further. But it wasn't cheep.

I was considering a zt 0200 or zt 0560/0561 and found an 0561 to trade for.
I already have a 4" CRKT M16 and a 4" CRKT M21. Others I have considered are the Benchmade 275 Adamas, the Benchmade 810 Contego and the Spyderco Manix 2 XL.

If you just want a massive, heavy duty folder but don't care about it being perhaps lesser quality and being made overseas..You can get the Bad Blood knives Fire splitter. It's almost 10oz of beefy folder and it has good reviews on knifecenter.

Love love love my ZT 0200. It is a beast of a knife and exactly what I was looking for in a larger folder. I'd tried some of the larger Spydercos (Endura/Military/Pacific Salt) but none of them really did it for me the way the 0200 does. It also convinced me to sell my Kershaw Blur as I knew I would never use it again once I'd tried the ZT. I much prefer the 0200's blade shape to any of the other ZT range as well. Go ahead and grab one, you won't regret it.

hi,

just received my zt 0200 today and i am completely happy !!! this is my first knife and i was thinking about buying another knife to start my collection (benchmade 710, emerson cqc-13, strider smf) but now i can say i did it right. it is not that expensive like the other knifes i was thinking about and it is a very fine knife. i asked the dealer to make sure that i will receive a nice one (centering, liner lock, etc.) and everything is perfect.
i think the 0200 is the most beautiful in the zt line up and the price is not to beat.

GRAYMAN Satu is one beast of a knife. Its a Mid tech knife that will run you 375 to 400 depending on options. They are monster blades and will hold up to just about any abuse you fling at it. As for ZT I do not think you can not go wrong with any of the offerings. Just find the one that fills your needs. If your dead set on a ZT I would wait a bit to see when the 2013 models are coming out they will be some exciting knives coming in 2013. Who knows we might see the Mythical 777 this year.

I LOVE mine. I think it's perfect in just about every way. If you don't mind jumping up in price, I would also recommend the HTM Gunhammer (usually around $300). It's the same basic shape as the 0200, but only about 75% as big, which meant it was absolutely perfect for the size of my hand.
