Looking for a main EDC Fixed

So all I've ever owned is folders and I'm looking to make the leap into fixed blades. I'm looking for a combo for an EDC. I already have my smaller "backup" blade chosen (an Izula 2), now what to pair it with for my primary. I'm looking for a 4-6" slightly wider drop point blade. It's going to be used for typical EDC "needs" (cutting food, opening packages, cutting rope ect.)with the occasional bushcrafting and or survival type uses (removing tree limbs, cutting notches in wood, perhaps some batoning once in a great while ect,). My price point is around $200 but flexible. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

You can get a good custom edc fixed blade from Alan Davis and design it to your liking. I am like you and only carry folders but the fixed blade he did for me was VERY NICE!!! Good Luck! Kevin

Yea, I was thinking I'd probably end up either having to or wanting to go the custom route. That's for the rec Kevin.
