I am looking to finally make my hobby a real treasure to myself, and certify as a journeyman smith. I am looking for a master who is willing to teach what I am lacking (and am I ever lacking!!!!).

Huntsville to be exact. I live in town (can you imagine pissing off the neighbors ringing the anvil.....).

I would be happy to train under anyone who can help me get past my journeyman test.

I know you know him, have you contacted Doc Batson? I was in Moulton last month helping with a demo at the Warrior Mountian thing. I'm about 3 hours from you, down near Montgomery. I'm lucky enough to be studying under a JS in Trinity.

I attended one of his famous hammerins a few years ago at his place in Madison. I have not spoken to him since, but would love to train under him.

How do I get in touch with him now?

I'd bet if you do a search for the Tannehill Hammerin Info he'd be the POC for it. How many DR Batson can there be in the Huntsville area? Good luck.
