Looking for a new BK

Alright fellas I'm looking at getting another BK, the BK-2 is slightly to big for my EDC uses! So being a FF/Paramedic plus just general off duty works what would be a good EDC BK model?? Nothing to big?? Also with suggestions where are a few Reasonable places to get them!!!

I'd suggest the bk11 with micarta.
Great knife!
A lot of folks like dealing with Tomars Ka-bars.
A quick search of the interwebz should yield many more fine results.

If you're lookin for a necker edc then check out the 24. It's just the tried-and-true 14 but made from D2. Can't go wrong.
 
The handles on the 11 and 14 are too small for my hands, so I didn't keep them.

I'd suggest a tweener of your choice -- I like the BK15 but if you are a fan of the 2 the BK16 is a smaller version of that. Or go with the BK17 if you want a clip point.
 
Buy all the Beckers and see which one works best for your uses. Then find uses for the others.
 
My edc is a Saber-11 on a chain. Then either an Izula/14/24 on my hip. Although lately they have been booted for a Daizee 100% mountain knife. OR a TMHunt Magua.

With any of those 6 knives you will be MORE than satisfied. Although if you are looking for something slightly larger, check out the 17. Full grip handle (Unless you're a mutant like Vik or Dub), clip point, sexiness, and will take a beating and keep on asking for more.

i edc my bk 11 everyday and i love it get some micarta or tommythewho a foroum member makes ecellent wood grips for the 11 and 14, 24!! also +1 for Tomars Kabars!!
 
Depends on what you mean by EDC. In a bag or on you person at all times? If its in your bag I'd recommend a 16 and if its on your person either a 24 or 14. I perfer the 24/14 over the 11 because I have no need for a bottle opener because I don't drink beer and I also like the fuller grip and zytel scales (I have fairly big hands).
 
There are a lot of good choices posted here. I would suggest the BK24 if it is an edc however if it's going in a bag or strapped to your trauma kit I would suggest the BK15 or BK16 as they would serve you well in most tasks that you would expect to see in the line of duty.

I'm liking the 11 because the bottle opener which is good (ale 8) and it doubles as an O2 wrench i believe

If it doesn't quite make the grade as a O2 wrench then this would be an interesting mod project for an 11 (or a 14, LOL)

I EDC a 14, and I love it.
