looking for a new day pack

hey guys are they any good day pack brands other then Maxpedition?? im considering getting one of their packs but i also want some other options.
i dont want anything to big 1500ci probably id like it to have molle on it and thats all for specifics. any info would be great.

I recently got one of these Condor packs. It has compression straps and is set up for mollie.

Sorry, I know you said no maxpedition, but I still have to recommend them. They are recommended all the time for a reason. I'd have to recommend maxpedition pygmy falcon 2, or on of thier rollypolly packs.
 
i too am looking for a day pack other than maxped. i want it to be water resistant and of good quality. any brands that are not over 80$ and are worth it to purchase?
 
I've had a couple Gregory packs and they have performed well.

While I can understand your budget of >$80, you have automatically eliminated all of the high quality tac type packs. Another route to look at are packs that are listed as "hydration packs". These are normally a pack with a pocket for a bladder. However, a search for packs labeled as such open up a whole different venue and selection.
 
Maybe take a look at Mountain Equipment Co-op, as they might have something of interest.
