So yeah, the itch is on for a new blade to fill the EDC/utility/work sort of role. For the last year or two, I've been rotating between a Caly3 and a Military. I've decided that the caly is a tad too small for my everyday wants, but the military is just a bit too big.
I've been looking, and the two models that have caught my eye are the CF Stretch2 and the Gayle Bradley, but I can't decide between them. What do you guys think? Any comments, issues or anything about these knives? Any other models you guys think I should look into? Thanks.

If you need a tank, I think the GB will fit the bill, if you need a Porsche, a CF stretch will do nicely.

I've never heard a bad word about the Stretch II, especially with the CF and ZDP. I have heard that the blade is thinner than most, however. Also consider the Sage series. Same blade length as Caly 3, but little bit larger handles, and slightly taller blade profile.

And can't forget all the hype surrounding the new Para 2. That may be perfect if you feel the Military to be good, just a bit big.

Caly 3.5 should be coming out sometime this year we hope?
Para 2 would be my choice otherwise.

The Stretch fits better in the pocket and is a bit lighter.
It's a freakin' perfect EDC.
Nothing wrong with the Bradley, I love that one, too. It's a little bigger and heavier. She is a beaut, though.
I actually just ordered a J.D. Smith after finding tons of great reviews. There is an occasional milling defect that doesn't effect the lockup, but I requested that the seller inspect my blade before sending it off to me.
I'm actually quite excited to get my J.D. Smith.
If you stick with the choices you mentioned you'll be pretty happy regardless.
I do prefer the Stretch for basic EDC. The Bradley is more heavy duty.
