Looking for a new fixed blade

So I've really started to like large fixed blade knives lately so I've decided my next purchase will be something of the like. I done a little bit of searching and it seems that anything with a blade longer than 10 inches is a machete with a relatively thin blade. That's where I was hoping you guys can help me. Here are my requirements:

Blade length: 15" to 20"
OAL: doesn't really matter as long as it doesn't have a freakishly long handle
Blade thickness: at least 1/4" thick
Single edged only (Saw the M2 by Miller Bros.; love it but alas, it's double edged)
Not too picky about the steel as long as it can take hard use without chipping or breaking
If a kydex sheath is included that's a plus.
Don't have a price range yet. I'll decide on how much I want to pay after seeing some suggestions.

Ok, recommend away!!
Thanks! :)

I can leave the back edge of the M-2 unsharpened if you like. or if you want it slightly modified, just let me know. as long as I don't have to redesign the whole thing, I would be happy to listen. thanks

Himalayan Imports also has some ridiculously long Kukris that might fit the bill. (I think I'd go with that single-edged M2, though ) Gotta love the custom makers!

Your best bet is to talk to a custom maker about what you want (lucky you one came to you, thats service!) Otherwise as far as big production choppers go you could take a look at the Esee Junglas, but even that sucker is below your size range.

Here's a Culberson Bush Sword, the blade is around 17". IMO, 1/4" thickness is too much at the lengths you're talking about, I mean it's going to be too heavy. Depending on the grind, you can still have a strong blade at 3/16" or 13/64" like my Culberson Bolok, but it's only 12.5" long. Oh, Bruce Culberson is in Canada, so he's "local", eh.;)
