+1 on the Benchmades and on the Spydercos. There are a lot of good knives that would fit your criteria. Look at Kershaw as well.

Check out the:
Ontario Rat One
Benchmade Griptilian
Spyderco Endura 4
al mar eagle ultralight talon (you can find one for under 100 if you look around)

crkt drifter. its 20$ and nice. ive carred it and used it for 2 years . only to be stolen from my ymca locker. and befor that delica 2 stainless get full serations. olny i lost while hunting ducks

Kershaw:
Barrage 2445BLK (It is an insanedeal--get it from Kershawguy in the for sale by dealers section)
R.A.M. 1910BLK (Left side, black blade, this one has the awesome scales by Phillip Dobson, or Firebert)

There's a few for ya. :)

Whats that part serrated ZT folder on top, above the 0500 (i think thats what it is, the mudd one).

For under 100 bucks you can hunt for a BM 710 or a Spyderco CE Manix 2. If you want CE try to get a larger blade-otherwise both bits are pretty useless.

Go to 5.11 tactical gear and order the first responder. You can thank me later. Keepem sharp

for 30$ get a RAT-1 half serrated. If it is going to be a user you can't go wrong.
I have more expensive folders but when I am going to work it gets the nod a fair bit.
It is easily worth twice what you'll pay with full steel liners and aus8. Mine has no blade play/rock solid.

Thanks for the responses,
I've looked at the mentioned knives and liked the R.A.M. 1910, Benchmade Griptilian.
Any recommendations for where to go online? I've looked around but did not know if anyone had any sites they preferred.

Benchmade Griptilian. The Axis lock is the best lock ever made. So many different color and steel choices, and 2 different sizes as well. Good steel, good ergonomics too. Also, an option for either thumb stud or opening hole.

Well Captain Focker, stay around long enough and you'll be convinced of the necessity of buying one of each. You cannot go wrong with any of the suggestions here, really. Grips, Spydies, Kershaw... I don't like CE knives, but the Kershaw half-moon serrations are awesome. I also second the recommendation of the Rat-1, for $25 you can't beat it really.
