Looking for a new option

So, I am in the market for a new tactical (hate using that word) / self defense - oriented knife.
I currently own an Emerson CQC-15 and a ZT0200. Both are fantastic blades, but I have the itch for something new.
The knife that has really caught my eye recently is the Combative Edge M1. I have not handled one, but everything about the knife screams awesome to me. The slim profile is very attractive as I deep-carry a blade in the pocket at work. The company seems to have a great reputation, and I like the improvements that were made on the 2013 model.
My budget would be up to $200 or so.
It's also nice having a knife that it not entirely 'production'.
Should I go with Combative Edge, or are there other similar options I should/could be considering?

Spyderco Civillian, great tactical knife, in fact that's what it's made for. Also reasonably priced.

I would go with the M1 if that is what interests you. I actually have one of these on my want list as well. I like the look of the knife and it seems like it would be very functional and durable. I would say go for it.

Hadn't considered the Civilian. Looks like a mean blade!!
How's the piercing strength on it?

Actually considering a ZT0561 instead. Can't go wrong with one from what I hear.
