Looking for a new whittler...

Hey guys, taxes are back and I'm looking to add to the EDC rotation. I picked up a Queen curly Zebra swell center whittler at Christmas, and love the pattern. I'm looking to pick up another one (or two) in this great old pattern, and am looking for suggestions (and pics if possible). I will probably get the Northwoods bone or wood, but I really want another one as well. Only a few basic requirements, it has to be a swell center (or not deviate too far from the Queen version I already have), in traditional carbon steel or high grade stainless, and be a good carry knife, wood or bone is good, stag would be great, MOP might not get carried.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Jim

I'd get an early 70's or before CASE 6383 in slightly used or near mint condition.

Case, Hen and Rooster, Schatt and Morgan (Queen) all make that wonderful old pattern. There are others I'm sure. But you've got a real good one already. Put up a picture and show it to us.

I keep looking at the Boker Whittler with the Beer Barrel scales. Same pattern with the Appaloosa bone is nice too.

I was just looking at a forum member's site at a Winchester you might like. PM on the way.

Here she is, this is a GREAT little gents knife, great F&F, walk and talk, etc - I had to clean the edge some, but it is one of my favorites.
