So i'm looking for my next knife, I want it to be non-traditional, smaller size, and no more than $250. So I've come up with 4 categories i'd like to choose from, and I've selected 1 knife for each. Here they are:

Balisong: Benchmade 32
Karambit: Emerson Battle Karambit SF
OTF: Microtech UTX70 D/A OTF S/E
Auto: Protech Sprint

So out of these, which one do you think would be the most fun to carry?

For my $0.02, OTF and Autos are not legal. Balisongs were never my thing (yet that is), so what's left. The Karambit! It will be a blast.

I would choose Protech Auto

Balisongs are fun if you are into flipping, but I couldn't edc one due to the attention it draws flipping it out
Karambits are kinda specialized as self defense tools
OTF are cool, but I feel a regular auto would be more fun IMO closing it looks to be 2 handed, which is a con for me.

Who knows? What is most fun to you? None of them seem particularly fun to me, but it's what is fun to you that matters.

We are exceptionally savvy and intelligent knife people around here, but we're not mind readers!

Balisongs, OTFs, and Autos are illegal in my state. (CO) Karambits are not at all practical IMHO, so what would I choose? The BM mini-grip that's in my pocket! :p

I'm rather fond of Protech autos, but the Sprint is tiny (the blade is under 2"). I'd forget about the Sprint, Runt and other wee little Protechs unless you're in California and need to stay under 2". Take a look at the Monaco or Newport, they are still very slim and compact, but are a bit more practical.
