looking for a poncho

im an looking for a large poncho suitable to make a shelter with or a utility tarp like a bashabuti cant find a basha in stock anywhere in the US and ideas as to what i can use?

You can usually find them at loacal hardware stores. But a simple one for 5 bucks work fine. or you you just buy a small tarp.

Cheaper than dirt .com has some surplus military style ponchos for cheap ... worth looking in to

The milsurp ponchos from USA, UK, Germany and other European countries make great shelters. Prices aren't too bad for most of the ponchos. I've got (2) USGI Woodland ponchos and I find that they are rugged, pack up small enough and with the grommets, are very versatile.
