I had a Tidioute Huckleberry Boys Knife for a short bit.... I liked it, but it felt too small. I really liked the JBF Champlin Eureka Jack, but the Tidioute version just looks too plain.

Anyways, what are my options in a production jack knife that is a little bit more hand filling than the Boys knife, in ebony, with a spear and pen blade?

I'm not quite ready to make the jump to customs yet. :o

Maybe take a look at some of the offerings of Case, esp the large Texas Jack...pretty cheap for a good knife

GEC 85 ought to satisfy you. Ebony, Spear/Pen and bigger/thicker than the Boy's Knife.

Hunt around for a Queen QCCC Teardrop in Ebony, it's got some weight to it!

GEC 85 pattern? 3 5/8" swell end jack. Available in ebony. I reckon you could call the 73 pattern a jack. 3 3/4". Also in ebony. My daily carry is a 73 and it's a nice stout knife.
