I know, I know, it's a fantasy knife, but here's the scoop. My best man is a knife collector, he's also a Star Trek fanatic. I figured what better gift for him than a Klingon style knife. Only problem is all the knives I've found of this sort are basically junk. The United version is made from fairly soft steel and would probably break in 2 minutes if you actually tried to use it. Is there a quality version of something like this available, or is there just no market for quality prop knives? Thanks for any info or pointers.

Cheers, Rob

Easy, just buy a Steve Ryan Biohazard. More than one friend has remarked that mine looks exactly like the pocket knife that a Klingon would carry.

PS: It'll cost you $400 -$500 for the knife, however.

steve ryan biohazard appears to be a series of knives, rather than a specific model. the only link i could find with a google search was here http://128.242.104.138/album/37428634UwGSoV and none of these look really anything like a klingon knife.

the previous poster has a link to the UC version, but it's a rather cheaply made knife unfortunately.

does steve ryan have a website? google didnt turn that up either.
