Hey guys, long time reader and first time poster here, my girlfriends birthday is coming up, and i was wondering about any good EDC knives for her. Over all, it would be more for out doors use, like hiking, but it shouldent be to awkward to take around for general city EDC use. Price range is around 65 dollars. Any help is greatly appreciated

I think a cold steel ak-47 or a recon 1 would be good choices. Very strong locks, good ergonomics, won't break the bank, and good edc knives for any type of task

Spyderco Delica, Benchmade small or large griptillian. Probably two of the most sold folders out there and there is a good reason why. You should be able to find all three in most quality sporting goods stores that have a good knife department.

All good choices.

I'd say go for a Rat 1 or 2 then take her to see a movie (or whatever she likes) with the cash left over.

We both find most cold steels a bit on the bulky side, i feel like if i were to get a knife that size i would want a fixed blade. i do like the griptillian and Delica, but how does the delica compare to the tenacious or resilience?

I like the Enlan, and i found it on a chinese website for like 15 dollars while amazon wants 55, is the chinese site legit?

They're Chinese made knives that should cost under $20. I've bought a few Enlans that weren't bad. The el-02b and el-04mct. I like the el-04mct one better. I don't carry them much but they really aren't bad for the price.

Any one have a good website to buy an endura or a full size griptillian? looking for a good deal.

I would say a Cold Steel Voyager Large or Extra Large would fit the bill plus their very light weight for their size. If your looking for a heavier knife then I would say get a Cold Steel Spartan or Espada Large.

The Delica 4 FFG is a nice EDC but I would get something more substantial for the outdoors. The Endura 4 is a good choice IMO.
