Looking for a sheath that won't mark up the knife

I just got a new Protech TR4 Auto. Great knife. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the black coating on the aluminum handle. It looks good but it's finely textured (similar to a bead blast finish) and seems to be prone to snail trails and marring.

Anyway , the nylon sheath that it came with is real nice. Except for the fact that the back of the belt loop snap (which is metal) is on the inside of the sheath where the knife goes and will more than likely start to mark up the knife. So I've been carrying the knife without the sheath for that reason.

Does anyone make a sheath for folders without this metal annoyance on the inside of the sheath?

You could take a thin piece of leather, cut it so it will cover the snap. Allow at least 1/16" all the way around the snap. Use Barge or Weldwood contact cement to bond it to the nylon sheath the knife came with. This should eliminate damaging/scratching the knife. Or, you can have a lined custom leather sheath made.
