Looking for a similar knife

Hello there!

I just recently got a CRKT CEO knife, I like it...but I wouldn't really call it something that is high quality. I know next to nothing about knives and I'm all for learning about them for sure, but I thought I would make a topic and ask for a suggested upgrade.

I am looking for something similar to the CRKT CEO, not exact as I do believe this knife has design flaws, that exists made by a company that is better known for consistent quality. Basically I want an edc folder that I believe will hold up to a little more abuse that looks similar in the closed state. I like the simplicity of the design of the CEO I just wouldn't say it was executed in the best way.

For those unaware what it looks like, here it is: https://www.crkt.com/ceo.html

I know I could get something like a microtech otf but laws where I am only really allow me to get fixed or flip blades.

Alot of good options,

Civivi Exarch/Chronic: slightly heavier but considerably better built and smoother action. Has a much better cutting edge than the CEO...I had to cut a bunch of nylon safety signs and tape and the exarch cut way better.

Civivi Imperium: just came out and OMG my new favorite Civivi. Smooth, long, well built, it kicked my exarch out of rotation for sure. This thing is GOOD.

WE Gentry/Scamp: I only own a gentry, it is a very thin and pretty knife. Not the most functional, but very classy and statement piece. Non-locking.

WE Miscreant(s): I think they're a little ugly but very functional and light knives.

Real Steel Metamorph: I recommend the micartamorph and G10morph, the default aluminum is very slippery. This one is pointy and cool looking. Can try the mini or GSlip too, alot of exclusives and special runs.

Artisan Cutlery/CJRB Ria; very smooth, pretty knife especially in CF or micarta. Can get a Centros if you want something bigger, or a feldspar for something prettier. Great prices for what you get.

ZT0707: super light and premium and LONG knife, I would pick this over the Fact because I think its prettier and more functional. I wouldn't buy this full price, I see it pop up on the Bay or exchange for a pretty hefty discount.

GEC 71s, or a similar buster pattern if you dont mind a traditional.

Honorary mentions:
Boker urban trappers, kwaikens, etc: only reason I dont recommend them is because I've had VERY hit and miss with their quality...

Buck Decatur: dont own one, but an alternative to the CEO.

Peña X series: everyone seems to love these but I hate them. Short, so make sure your hand is not too big.

All the ones recommended by others are good knives, if I think of more I will edit.

Have fun shopping!

Thanks for all the suggestions! So far I'm considering the Benchmade Fact and the Spyderco Ikuchi as top, but really liked the Boker urban trapper as well. I suppose this is now more of a function over form question that I need to decide on. Appreciate all the replies and maybe I'll end up posting pics whatever I get somewhere on the forum.

If you want similar, I'll second the Boker Urban Trapper. If you want to stay with CRKT, check out the crossbones. (That isn't exactly a recommendation for the crossbones...just an acknowledgement of the type. I veered away from the brand a long time ago)

Actually, looking at it again, it looks a lot like a mini-kwaiken I purchased here.
