Looking For A "Sleek" Knife

I'm looking for sort of a "sleek" or "elegant" looking pocket knife. I really like the look of carbon fiber. The Boker Plus Anti-Grav looks perfect, but it's made in China and its ceramic... I like the look for the Protech Godfather with carbon fiber as well.

I'd like to stay under $100, or very close to it, and nothing from the junk Asian countries (Taiwan, China...).

I love the Benchmade 531, it's incredibly sleek in the pocket. Price is around $130 though, if that's too much I agree with fetzer. Can't go wrong with a Kershaw Skyline for well under $100.

I think that skyline is probably going to be your best bet.

On a side note, I wouldn't lump Taiwan in with China. I would even go so far as to say the living, work, governmental, and social conditions tend to be more like the U.S. Instead of China since the early to mid 90's.
To the tune that a Lot of people would agree that the Spydercos coming out of the Taichung, Taiwan plant are some of the best spydercos available today, in terms of dollar value, fit and finish, and materials used.

Why are we supposed to limit our education of people on here to strictly knives. Particularly if it will open said persons eyes to a few Great knives further down the road.

(If this will make it any easier for you to swallow, I am Caucasian)

OP, I can' say that I approve of your uneducated generalizations, but I can understand wanting American made products. I happen to think that the Emerson A100 (or Mini A100) is a very sleek, low profile design. It's a little pricier, but that's what you have to pay to get American made, even if the quality isn't as good as Taiwan's.

You're wrong about Taiwan, but for America-made I'd suggest a Kershaw Leek. It's not carbon fiber though...

If you ever get past thinking that Taiwan quality is equal to China quality then I'd wholeheartedly suggest the Spyderco Chaparral. It honestly sounds made for you. Carbon fiber/G10 laminate handle, 0.07" thick blade, <0.035" thick handle...it's about as sleek and elegant as you can get.

Knives in nature, that kizer is interesting looking. That is now on the Long want list. Thanks

for America-made I'd suggest a Kershaw Leek. It's not carbon fiber though...

Leek = "SLeek" - S.
lots of colors, slim, Swedish razor steel, and made in the USA.
That's on the modest end of your budget. You could probably get a little fancier for close to $100, say the Benchmade 707.
