Need some help. I'm looking for a small belt pouch to carry my daily load of SAK, Wallet, keys, first aid things....... I have been using a small "fanny pack" but rould rather have something smaller to be worn on the belt. I don't need it to carry a gun as that goes in my pocket.

Thanks alot,

TARSIER,
Thanks alot. I always check search and it figures that the first time that I don't there is all of that useful info.

Thanks again,

No problem, happy to help. I like the Eagle Creek Get Out Pouch, but that is probably a little small for what you want. I figured that the New Sun product reviewed by the gentleman in the second thread might be just the ticket. Check out www.tadgear.com for some similar items.

Another option would be to check out the Nite-Ize pouches for about $15 online or at local sport shops.

Personally, I use one of the New Sun Liberty pouches from Brigade Quartermaster. However, since BIGGER IS BETTER ;), the even larger one they carry caught my eye.

(edited to add) Having trouble with cut&paste BQ url working. Go to http://www.actiongear.com and go to their "Watches, Writing Supplies, Wallets, Organizers, Dog Tags" section, then select the "Wallets, Personal Organizers, Dog Tags, Accessories" option to see lots of possible pouches. One of the Side Kick Pouches (sm & med size) they carry may suit your needs nicely.

The huge pouch I'm interested in is the New Sun Liberty Expedition Organizer with 8 pockets.

I found my pouches on E-bay under "belt pouch".
Best part is that they were priced cheap but well
made leather.:D :D

Hey Guys...

The Niteize pouch is what I use and have used for several years..
Its a Great American made pouch, and has held up well for me for about 4-5 years now, used almost on a daily basis..

I've installed a custom concealex insert that carries my SAK Outrider and a large Swedish Firesteel..
The insert goes in the back pocket and is fastened down in the back.
I like it because it frees up room in the main compartment, as well as putting my blade up higher for easy access.
The inside pocket is now used for my Wave and Innova X5T..
Great pouch for what you want to do..

Hi

Do you have an idea of what you are looking for?
I could probably make one up in leather for you if I had a design or pic.

A rock climber's chalk bag is quite good.
They come in different sizes, you can attach them to your belt
with a small karabiner. Most of them have a closure system so
they're secure.

Ditto for the Nite-Ize pouch. If you need some something bigger check some of pouches offered by Spec-Ops they should have something that will work.

New Sun Has a large assortment that changes all the time and goes on sale all the time.I have three of there pouches and have found the Tech to be the best size for my EDC and it comes with velcro straps attached loops, hooks and a long adjustable cord.Oh and a small very reliable carabiner. For a link of attachments click:http://www.newsungear.com/Pages/Adapt.htm For the link click here :http://www.newsungear.com/Pages/Access.htm

Hey thanks alot for all of your help, you folks are terriffic!

On Monday I called Brigade Quartermasters and ordered a New Sun Expedition pouch which should arrive either Friday or Monday. This will be my first really good pouch and it will give me a better idea of what my needs are.

Knifesmith - Thank you very much for your offer and as soon as I decide exactly what my needs are I'm going to look you up. I love leather, especially the dark Havana brown, as I feel that this is the absolute classiest for those special occassions.

I'll let everyone know how the Expedition pouch works out. It seems that there is quite a bit of interest in small "El Dorko" EDC pouches.

Thanks again and have a happy new year!
:)
