Looking for a small knife that could go in a purse and is blue/turquoise

I know the specifications for this knife may seem a bit funny, but a friend of mine and I were joking with his girlfriend who said she is "warming up to knives" about finding her a small purse sized knife in the color turquoise (here favorite color) or blue if not.

I know Kershaw makes a scallion in a blueish color, but what other relatively inexpensive knives of decent quality are out there that could meet these specifications?

You should be able to get a Spyderco Kopa for under $100 with a blue handle. You'll pull them up with a search.

I would recommend that you try and find a Spyderco Dodo---one of the most functional small designs ever, and it comes with a blue handle. Unfortunately, you wouldn't be the one using it and you'd have to pay a princely sum for one on the secondary market these days.

I just checked and www.newgrahamknives.com has a turquoise handled Kopa (a beaut), but it's $190. They have another in pacific blue bone for about $60 less. I seem to remember seeing a jigged blue boned for about $80. And of course, CASE has lots of blue-handled knives in all sorts of shades.

there is also a Kopa with actual turquoise inlays, or something customized by Yellowhorse or Santa Fe Stoneworks

and Case makes blue bone knives, or cheaper alternatives would be Rough Rider or Steel Warrior

edit - Gargs beat me. If frn would be more her speed, Blade-tech has a blue Mouse-lite

This topic came up with my wife after about a year of me getting new knives on a regular basis. She got comfortable around them and got used to using extremely sharp knives. So when I asked her what she wanted, her only serious request was, "No folding knives" :D

She has one of these in antique ivory micarta and loves it. So I say fixed blades for the womenfolk
