hey everyone, first off i'd like you to hear my brief story.
I wanted to be a fireman through my highschool days, and once i turned 19 i finally was able to apply for an on call position in my small town. I have officially finished recruit training and am just waiting for them to process everything.
I have wanted a small sebenza for a long time but like most people, had a hard time justifying the buy. so i told myself, if i get the on call position then i will buy a small sebenza as a present to myself. this is the first step in the direction of my career so i think it is worth the reward.
I have been checking the for sale forum for a while now with no luck. I am looking for a small plain 21. but here is the catch, i want a brand new one WITHOUT the idaho made stamp. nothing against idaho, i just hate the stamp and its proving very difficult to find one without it. so i've come here to ask if anyone is willing to sell me an un-used small plain sebenza 21 that was made before they started stamping them. i plan on using this knife for pretty much the rest of my life.

sorry if this is the wrong forum.

oh and i live in canada.
thanks for reading

Check with New Graham Knives. They are a CRK dealer and have a number of CR knives with free shipping. Excellent service. I just bought a Mnandi with snakewood inlay, and it was shipped the next day.

thanks for the response, but 1. the small sebenza 21 is out of stock, and 2. im pretty sure all dealers now only have sebenzas with the stamp

I apologize if this is a double post but I have one brand new no idaho stamp. Email me if interested I have no problem shipping to canada. r.y.a.n.m.y.r.d.a.@ameritech.net (Remove the periods except the ".net") We can negotiate a fair price then.

Have you held a Small 21 in your hand before? It's pretty small. Smaller than you might think.

Even with my Girly man hands, the Small 21 is too small. It's better with inlays. The Large 21 is a better fit, it's still pretty small overall relatively speaking. Or maybe I've been used to larger, beefier knives lately.

First of all, congratulations on completing the recruit training!

I just wanted to mention the idea that finally got my mind straight when it came to justification for this purchase....

I really like knives. I always have. I also really like technology. If I buy a new computer (which I have done many times) I will spend $500-$2,000 depending on what I'm after. That computer is expected to last me about three years and then I'll have to buy another one. Because I like technology, I will often purchase higher end gear. A faster processor, more RAM, better GPU, etc. Why is it I can justify spending extra money on something that will last me about three years but I can spend a couple hundred bucks on a knife that could quite possibly last the rest of my life?

Even people who aren't computer geeks will purchase $200+ phones, T.Vs., and other equipment that will be replaced within a few years, but then they scoff at spending a couple of hundred on a knife that will last MUCH longer? Really, in the grand scheme of value over time, the sebenza is a GREAT value.

Just my thoughts =)

Anyway, good luck on your search. Unfortunately, I don't have an unused Sebenza to sell and I don't know of a place that currently has them in stock :(

I've got 2 smalls but looks like you're covered.... If you've never held one it's very close in size to a spyderco delica.
