Need some suggestions for someone who can make me a baskethilt, greatsword, dirk, and maybe some dubhs. Any suggestions?

define rich, if this is going to cost me tens of thousands of dollars, f*** tradition, i'll get a bowie knife from zombietools and be done with it.

I asked my local bladesmith the price of a basket hilt. He said at least $2000.

If you are having custom pieces made I would second both Rob Miller of Castle Keep and Vince Evans as making quality products although they really aren't in the same league in terms of price point or level.

If your thought is that you don't want to make a significant financial commitment and would be just as happy with a zombie tools piece I would suggest that you probably ought to go either the production route as has been suggested or in fact get the zombie tools item.

Or he could stop being petulant & save for a good dirk 13" bade. Start his Scot collection somewhere. Long enuff to kill an imaginary zombie. The temple is the target of the soulless.
