Looking for a source of ARMCO iron in USA

www.aksteel.com is the American part of the company.
Expensive ? well the higher the purity of a metal the hogher the cost !!

What are you making ? Do you really need that purity ?
 
My uncle works maintenance in the blast furnace at the Middletown Works site. I'll ask him next time I see him. I don't think they bring much of the iron in anymore though, mostly only see slabs coming from Ashland to be rolled. They don't make as much steel there as they used to, but there is a new coke plant being built so that could change soon.
