Looking for a specific style knife...

Hey, everyone! I've been searching far and wide for a Damascus folding knife with an abalone handle. Obviously, I've found the imitation stuff, which isn't really what I'm looking for. The thing I'm most concerned about is whether or not I'm getting the real deal. I see a huge amount of imitation Damascus, which all looks fine and dandy, but doesn't perform the way Damascus should. Additionally, I'm looking for real abalone (again, I've found imitation junk). I'm getting increasingly frustrated with my search and was hoping some of you could point me in the right direction.

Benchmade doesn't seem to have what I'm looking for; they're also beyond what I want. I'm not a collector, so those knives are a little out of my price range (but they are fantastic!). If any of you wonderful people have recommendations or advice, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thanks

Seems like William Henry may have something, depends on how much you want to spend. Decent damascus and abalone isn't going to come cheap. I can think of plenty of knives with damascus blades that are affordable but can't think of any productions knives with abalalone handles. Again, WH might have something in their lineup that would work, I'm not sure.

I know queen made some, you might be able to find one if you look around a bit. Bear and Son also have a couple but I've heard their fit and finish is pretty hit and miss, so if you go with them make sure it is from a dealer who will accept returns.

Protech made some but they cost a fair bit and are mostly auto knives so no idea if you can have them where you are

Thanks guys! I found a couple Bear & Son and made sure to cover my bases in purchasing them. :)

Btw, William Henry makes ridiculously attractive knives... I may have to pick a couple up. Shame on you for feeding my obsession! :P
