looking for a Spydie Calypso and Calypso Jr.

Posted a want add, but was hoping someone could direct me to a web site. Lost mine in Thailand and trying to locate replacements.

Thanks for your time,
Ted

Good luck finding a dealer with one, they are long gone. Only place I would look is here and ebay. A burgundy zdp one was just listed on ebay at an open bid of .99

Good luck hunting! Its worth it! the Caly Jr is my favorite knife ever.

Ouch. A lost Caly? That's enough to make a grown man cry.

The Jr. will probably be easier to find, depending on what variant you want (are you looking for stainless, micarta, FRN?) The full-sized Calypso is going to be a tall order, and you can expect to pay out the nose if you find one.

You also might look into the Calypso 3. It should be much easier to find.

True, and at least some folks may find the Police 3 to be a reasonable substitute for the C54 Calypso.

All - thanks for the replies and emails, travelled last week and just back to forums.

Good advice on ebay, I will check it out. I just figured if they were out there, this would be the place to find them.

I have a full-size serrated in Micarta, lost the matching plain edge so would like to replace. Have a stainless Police, but I just really like the ultr straight edge on the Calypso.

STI - i am interested in the user Jr..

Email is best for me - tbotner@murphyoilcorp.com

This may be against the rules, but there is a PE full size calypso on ebay right now... No it's not my listing, and is out of my price range, but damn, that's a good looking knife.

To all - I really appreciated your helpful advice. Special thanks to Kwackster and ChapmanPreferred who helped line me up and point me in the right direction for both a Calypso and a Calypso Jr.

My replacements are on their way home now. If I knew how, I'd post pictures of them.

Thanks again,

Ted

Cool:thumbup: Glad to hear you got sorted out.

To post pics (there can never be too many pictures of these beautiful knives,) you first need to upload them to a hosting site, like http://photobucket.com/. Then you just need to insert the address of the picture between
