I'm looking for a folding knife that is straight up fun. Something that has great action and I can flick it open a zillion different ways. I'm eying the Olamic Buster Largo. It's a little unusual looking and (based on pictures I've seen) seems pricey for what you get, but I hear good things. Wondering if anyone else has ideas...

Take a look at my profile pic. It is a Spartan Blades Pallas. Runs on ball bearings. It has equally functional flipper tab and thumb studs. Extremely "fallshutty" with a press of a button. No wrist action needed. I have quite a few knives but if you like to fidged this is the-freaking-answer! I know I have said it before but it is as if the Hogue Ex01 and Spyderco Paramilitary2 mentioned above had a beautiful ergonomic and fluid child. Top 5 for me and I have owned countless knives.

High end Balisong!

I think you're on track with the busker. It's a great knife with an off the charts fidget factor. I've been impressed with mine.

The Siemper Busker in gray is probably the way to go. $365 compared to the hundreds more for nothing but esthetics. Buskers can get pricey and they really aren’t custom. You just have color options and that’s not changing the knife any. The basic gray is great, but outside of that they are way over priced. Get a basic gray one

Honestly of all knives I own, the most fun to flip endlessly would be either my Benchmade Mini Morpho or one of my few less expensive ceramic bearing flippers; Harnds Talisman, Bestech Lion, or Ferrum Forge Gent.

Are butterfly knives legal in your area? If so it don’t get more fun than that.

Well, if you really want something, as you said, that you can "open a zillion different ways," then I think butterfly is your only real option. That Olamic is unusual, but I can only come up with 3 ways to open it IF you can wrist flick it.

So, are you looking to actually cut objects with this knife, or just open and close it?
