Hi All, I am looking for a light weight belt tomahawk. It would be used for throwing, chopping, splitting, occasional felling, skinning, and light hammering. I would also like the handle to be the slide through the top type. Is there such a beast? Any recommedations?

Take a look at the Cold Steel line of hawks. I use them primarily for throwing and am very happy with them. They have a wide selection to choose from. You may not find one all that good for skinning but one or two of them may fit your needs. The best prices I have found for them were through E-bay auctions or stores.
Hope this helps, good luck!

A buddy of mine has a H&B Seneca hawk. For a "production" hawk it's first class. I can endorse it.
I own a M&W Black Hawk. It is drop forged , but still quality for about half the price. Both are balanced for throwing and will outlast us all.
The M&W Black Hawk is sold by Crazy Crow Trading Post. www.crazycrow.com
Both of us have had our hawks for 6 years. We have thrown at wood block targets, chopped kindling, pryed stuff and pounded nails. No sign of wear.
I own CS knives and machetes, but not any of their hawks. If you are getting a CS hawk the Frontier model would be your best bet
