Looking for a top of the line survival machete - which one?

Ok I am looking at getting a really good, last forever type machte.

Now I have seen this one:

http://images.gerbertools.com/Lg/2470_1/22-41576_Gerber_Gator_Machete.jpg

And I REALLY like how it has the back side as an entire saw. Makes it very functional.

But, even though its gerber, it looks a little flimsy.

Now I've also see this one:

http://www.kellyworden.com/Machete.jpg

Now you can see taht the Kelly wordern looks completely indestructable.

But doesnt have the saw across the entire back like the gerber.

So is there a company out there that produces a machte as long lasting and durable as the Kelly worden, but yet has the entire back as a saw?

if not, who could make a combo machte for me?

any idea on what a price would be?

Yeah I've seen that one, but it is not the design I am looking for.

I'm looking for an indestructable blade with a saw back.

A combo of the two I linked to.

Why a saw back?

The second one you linked to is not a "sawback" btw, I think its there for mutilation/tacticool purposes. I would recommend finding something without a sawback, something that's thick enough to chop with, instead of saw with. And my reason being that the ergos of an upside down handle are less than ideal when using the saws located on the spines of knives. Another reason I don't like the sawback on knives is that they tend to come on really cheap knives.:)

That being said, I'd recommend a machete/folding saw combo.

a sawback machete limits the usefulness of both the machete and the saw. I would not want to use a saw with a razor sharp back edge, and with a machete you should be able to use it as a draw knife or handle it by the back of the blade for finer cutting.
