I'm looking for a traditional style blade with a blade and a saw blade (lock or no lock).
I have found the Schrade Old Timer Buzzsaw Trapper and the Puma Warden, but would like one which is not made in China.
As for the blade style I really liked the blade of the Grohmann Slimline (http://gknives.com/index.php/produc...es/360s-grohmann-slimline-pocket-knife-detail), but any style should be fine within reason.

Anyone know of any on the market or have been? Thanks.

Hi and welcome!
GEC produced a spear/saw version of their #15 pattern which might be worth a look.
Anyway, in my opinion, in the blade+saw business, nothing beats a SAK Farmer.

Yes, Victorinox have the best saw blades and it's not even close. The teeth are aggressive and set wider than the spine so they handily chew through wood.

Thanks for the quick replies!
I already do have a Victorinox and Leatherman which have the amazing saws, but am looking for a traditional pocket knife look.
The GECs do look nice but their website is hard to navigate!

Case might have a folding hunter two blade slip joint with a saw in place of the drop point. Or maybe I'm thinking of the OT?

Can't get much more traditional than a SAK. Been around since the late 1800's. Love my SAK Tinker (don't have any use for a saw, but need a phillips). I think you might like the Schrade Old Timer Bearhead Trapper - take a look.

Do a Google search for Case 6.5 BONESTAG TRAPPER HUNTER W/SAW BLADE. It's a pretty nice knife. My father-in-law purchased one in December

That's what I'm looking for! Thanks!
Btw I found here: [at a dealer who does not have a BF dealer membership], but is there anywhere else I can buy it?

Also would I be able to grind down the blade slightly to have more of a point? (I do birch bark crafts and a point is essential)

I would guess that the Case Master Dealers would all have them. If memory serves, none of the Case Master Dealers is a BF Dealer Member, so we don't mention them in this forum.

But Case has a list of them on their website:

Victorinox Stag Hunter GAK. Best saw ever in a gorgeous, traddy frame, and perfect quality.

A friend of mine just bought one from Bay for 50 Euros so they are reasonably priced, even if rather rare.
